With over 60 parks, a vibrant arts scene, and a lively economy, Garland is one of the most exciting cities in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex. Residents can work at many of the multinational companies within Garland city limits, or make an easy commute to Dallas from one of the two DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) stations in town. After work, you can eat dinner at one of the great restaurants downtown.
This amazing lifestyle is going to come at a price, though. While slightly cheaper than other areas of Texas, the median home price is still $300,000 and rents are around $1000 for a 1 bedroom. Needless to say, you might find yourself with less space than you’d hoped for.
Don’t let that stop you from making a move to Garland, though. There are numerous affordable self-storage options all over the DFW area, including many in Garland. Whether you need a place to park your furniture for a month or two or want extra space to spread out for the long term, you’ll be surprised by how easy and cheap it can be..
