Got the Unit at higher rates
I was highly disappointed to have had a reservation confirmation email. Only to arrive at the facility and learn through the call center that my reservation was cancelled, but the unit was still available. The agent from the call center did assist me with acquiring the same unit but at a higher rates. I was totally disappointed. No on-site assistance until almost 4pm.

I had the best experience with this storage company. Moving from Mississippi and having to make changes several times due to being hospitalized, they were very flexible with my changes. The Young Lady that checked us in was Awsome! Thanks so very much.

I've used this facility on two occasions and each time has been wonderful. Working with the property manager has been great and carolyn has been there to answer all of my questions. I will highly recommend public storage for their storage needs.

Above excellent customer service
I am extremely pleased with the personnel Public Storage has at the Richmond, VA location. The manager that helped me was knowledgeable and had great customer service skills. The only thing that I did not like was all the "hidden" fees to start a contract. They advertise $1 pays first month's rent but fail to mention that you will have to pay $18 for a lock, $24 Admin fee, and other bs. After all the charges I ended up paying almost $65. My monthly unit is $75. I pretty much paid almost the full amount for the first month. Please state the costs clearly.

Location is good, very friendly staff and secure area.
The price is very good. I only needed a 5x5 unit, the storage is kept clean and the staff has been very friendly. The down side would be that I didn't like having to purchase another lock that I already had from previously renting from Public Storage. It was shared with me that it comes in the package. It was also not shared with me prior to renting that I needed insurance. I thought I had time. Long story short, it was cheaper but I would have looked into it prior to moving in.
