Inaccurate sizing
I only needed a small unit to store a couple mattresses and a table. So I measured my items and determined the small 5 feet by 5 feet unit would work just fine. When I opened the unit it was clearly not the advertised size. The manager was super nice and helpful and offered to bring a measuring tape. To our surprise it was 4x4. She offered a similar unit that was open and available. This was also advertised as 5x5 feet. We used the measuring tape once again. It was just under 5 feet by 4 feet. So once again it was too small. The manager was very apologetic but also did not have any other units available at the time. So we made do with what we had. I had a truck with mattresses and a rain storm about to start. We were able to fit the mattresses but unable to fit the table. With the extra foot of room missing it was not possible. But if we had the extra space that it had been advertised as, it would have fit perfectly, just like I had measured. Overall the manager was extremely sweet and helpful. But the company needs to to better with their measurements and advertising.

Always a pleasant experience with this staff
I rent three units here at the Morgans Point location, and I have always had a great experience with the team. Teresa and others have all been available, energetic and capable of helping me with whatever needs attention. They have also been eager to use whatever resources needed to help me.
Recently, I have had a couple of interactions with Chrissy, who has recently joined the team here. Simply put, you all made a GREAT decision bringing her on, and I THANK you for keeping with your high standards. My experience tells me she GETS IT when it comes to ensuring the customer experience is a positive one .... YAY!

Half the cost of the competition!
Since the minute I first arrived at American Storage, I have received first-class care from Debbie as well as Herbie. The size unit I needed wasn't immediately available but, while I was out-of-town, I got a call from Debbie alerting me that what I needed had become available - the monthly price was literally HALF the cost of a comparable unit nearby PLUS the first month was FREE if I secured the unit online! The owners live on-site so the quick assistance and added safety are awesome. I think you'll be very, very pleased here.
