great easy experience
I stopped by the place today and was greeted by the most friendly and professional person I have ever encountered. Her name is Brianna and if I ran a business I would hire twenty Brianna's thats how amazing of a person and a worker she is. She was so friendly, so enthuiastic and so professional that I could not sign up fast enough. The place is spotless and Brianna made the process so easy. I was in and out in no time. Brianna showed me exactly what I was getting and explained the whole process. I completely recommend this place to anyone.

My plans changed at the last minute and I needed someplace to move.
I went in to this facility and was greeting by 2 really great friendly professional woman, Brianna and Simmone. Brianna explained everything to me, walked me to the storage unit to take a look all the while explaining what I should expect. There was never any pressure to sign up for the month. I explained that I would be back on the morning to get the unit and she let me know that I would be in great hands with Christine that day\, and she was right. All three of these ladies are outstanding. Thank you for making such a bad situation a lot better.

I have had my things at your facility for years. It's clean, the staff is friendly, it's convenient and the price isn't too scary. The only thing I don't like is that people can tailgate to get in. I've never had a problem with tailgaters, they were tenants too, but hopefully the wrong folks won't get the idea they can do this. Otherwise, I love this place and recommend it all the time to my friends and acquaintances.

This facility has been excellent - I especially think a lot of that credit is owed to Kristy, the property manager. I was moving at 37wks pregnant and she made the whole process so easy and actually fun (she has the best personality!). She gave me the tour, showed me the gate code points of access for security, and just went above and beyond to make sure i had all the information, the correctly sized unit, and accessories for that unit. She is amazing!

Personnel are Everything
The people at the Public Storage I am currently renting space from are the real reason I chose to go there. I had done my research, decided on the size of unit I needed, and the price I was willing to pay. I almost walked away because of the truly intrusive and repetitive e-mails and phone calls I received after reserving the unit. I am an adult and do not need or want to be called and e-mailed multiple times: I MADE a reservation, I HAD all the data, yet I was hounded with repetitious e-mails and calls. Thankfully, when I called the office, a lovely woman by the name of Sade, tried to settle me down. She asked me to select a time to come in (on the day I had already stated I would be there), so that she would be available to show me the unit and answer questions before finishing up the required paperwork. I was pleased - until I got another few e-mails. On the day of my appointment, Sade received the brunt of my annoyance regarding the calls and e-mails with courtesy and style. That display of sincerity and concern saved the day. Corporate needs to change the computer settings to STOP "helpfulness" from bordering on insult and harassment. They also need to be upfront about the "required" insurance fees that are not really noted until you go to sign up. The building in my case is brand new. I was impressed with the cleanliness, the lighting, the temperature control of the building, and especially the many evidences of security. But again I come to the main reason I chose THIS location: The Personnel!!! Their commitment to customer service is exceptional.

Jessica is fantastic at her job and the whole office staff including Samantha and the invisible guy are good-natured and welcoming.
Brand new building . Spotless. I hope it stays like it is now.
Not a reflection on the location, but the other fees and administration charges mentioned on the site when you are picking your unit include a mandatory insurance fee that doubles the initial $26 payment and gets added to the monthly rent that you get quoted on the site.
You will be questioned thoroughly on what you plan to put in your unit.

Sade and Danielle are amazing. This was my first time renting a storage unit by myself and they took the time to make sure I understood everything and answered all of my millions of questions. They were patient while I read every single word of every single paper and made the whole experience pleasant and even fun! They were super nice and funny and within seconds of the interaction I felt like a friend and not a customer. Any fear or doubts I had were wiped away and I'm confident I made the right decision by choosing them.

when I called to see if I needed an appointment to see a unit I was a bit turned off. they speed talk on the phone trying to get you in there. however once at the facility the crew was informative, and nice. facility is clean and well secured. Book on-line though, you save tons of $$$

Great first impression/experience
So I have been trying to get a storage unit for some time now and I found one that was in a great location that is available 24/7. They baited me with the location and price and when they contacted me they said they would forward me the paperwork ahead of time to fill out and they would buzz me in so I could see the location. They then wouldn't stop calling every day and I obviously got cold feet. So I stumbled upon this wonderful price and a brand new location in bethpage New York , reserved a spot and heard from the manager the next afternoon. The manager was very pleasant and even though I said move in on Sunday she said she would meet me that evening. When I arrive she is as nice as can be and takes me up to the unit to show me what am getting. Even goes as far as changing the unit because the door was a bit awkward. She explained everything very thoroughly and I was extremely pleased with her service as well as the facility. As for some opportunities , I did feel a bit pressured to purchase boxes. Even after I told her I work in retail and boxes are very easy to come by she was very pushy. I was also a little upset initially about purchasing a lock for $20 that I did not remove from a package myself. How do I know I received all the keys? Initial payment was a bit shady as well but neither her or I could truly identify the break down so I won't attempt to explain it here. Overall I had a great experience.
