Great location

This Public Storage is conveniently located right outside the Atlanta airport. We selected indoor storage and the facility is very clean. We reserved online and completed the rest upon arrival. The representative was extremely friendly and professional which made for a smooth experience. Overall very happy with the location, price, cleanliness and professionalism!

Threathen, humiliated, racially profiled and degraded

The manager Pam was very unprofessional, rude and insulting. I'm appalled that she is even authorized to be a manager. Yet along work for Public Storage at all. I was on a personal phone call and this lady insulted me by calling me a the "N" word, to add insult to injury, she followed it up with other degrading and racial remarks. Ex: a fly, you rat A** B*tch, and other very obsense insulting names. I had to remind her I was on a private phone call..and that my conversation had absolutely nothing ro do with her. She then got very irate and threatened me with a $150 fine due to my items being stolen from the location while I did my 2nd return trip to the facilityand wanting to file a theft report. She stated, " if you want to call the police on us then I'll file a abandonment of goods on you. I believe the term for that action was LGP or something along those lines. She refused to do an incident report for my items that were stolen under the surveillance camera. She refused to get another manager for me to conduct my business with, she refused to remove the lock taken off my storage door..min you I just moved in the day prior & paid all my fees. However, I put their cart in my storage for safe keeping while I completed my 2nd return trip. By that time which was 7:02pm the office was closed. So she threatened me even further with theft of their goods, which was a cart (mind you they were holding my driver License in exchange) This women is one of the most iriate, rude and unproffesional, corrupt & mean spirited women/managers I have ever come across in my 42 yrs. Of life. Mrs. Laura is a very sweet women in which I completed the remaining of my transaction with after walking away from Pam due to her insubordination & degrading conduct towards me as a customer. This incident took place on 8/3/24 @10am

Storage unit great

The storage unit was perfect for moving out of my two bedroom apartment. The keys were already in the unit and it was easy access. I wish there were after hours to access the unit, because 7pm is too early to close.

My unit was inside the facility. It was broken into. My valuables were stolen. Come to find out no cameras were located inside the facility. Only at the front gate . Gave me major headache when using the insurance that they provided me. -F minus rating

SOMEONE HAS MOVED INTO MY UNIT THAT I HAVE PAID FOR AND I HAVE THE RECEIPT TO PROVE IT. THE MANAGER AT THE FRONTAGE ROAD PROPERTY HAS INFORM ME THAT THERE IS NOTHING THAT HE NOR THE DISTRICT MANAGER CAN DO TO HELP ME. I AM VERY UPSET ABOUT THIS . I HAVE TRIED CALLING THE DISTRICT MANAGER " who checks his voicemails TWICE a day" , AND LEFT VOICEMAILS FOR HIM. HE HAS NOT RETURNED MY CALL.

I wish the gate closes sooner but I understand.

Customer service for the most part is excellent. I wish that there was like a drop down or something where the gate is because sometimes I feel like someone can come behind me since the gate opes wide and stays open for a little bit even after you have passed. But overall the location around the corner from where I am living and everything is perfect.

Bait & Switch!!! I reserved my unit online at a specific price. When I arrived i was switched to different unit (same size) at a much higher price. The Manager on duty (Ms. Laura) was extremely helpful, professional & polite. She told me since I arrived at the unit with my furniture to take the higher price unit and my bill would be adjusted. After several phone calls, several office visits and 30 days later the price has not been adjusted and was told that I should just pay full price. WTH? I may have to move my belongings again... This is a nightmare!!!! 9.6.17 Update: My account was finally adjusted to the correct amount. No additional issues over the past 30 days and I love the cleanliness of the units and facility. Increased my rating from a 1 star to 3 stars.

I reserved my unit online and everything was pretty much done by the time I got there. The Agent at the counter was very nice and took great care of me. I have a medical condition that affects my ankle and the Agent looked for an available unit near the door so I wouldn't have so far to walk. Very helpful and professional staff. They were awesome!

The People Are Nicer than the Facility

I have had a wonderful experience thus far with the staff of Public Storage on Frontage Rd, Forest Park, GA (Atlanta). They are kind, courteous, and very helpful. The facility could use a little boost. The indoor, climate controlled area is a little colder than I would like. The doors to the building are broken, and do not close of the way (which makes for a safety concern to me). Hopefully, they will get that resolved soon. The hours of operation area also lacking. 9 am - 6 pm, which makes it hard to get in under normal operating hours. However, they will make your code available for 24 hour access with a phone call. The code's access then expires the next day, but for each day that you call them you can gain acces after hours. The bathroom is very far from the climate controlled building (all the way by the office) and it only has access during office hours. That is another slight issue. I would like to see a 24-hour bathroom close to each building. And my biggest gripe with this facility it that there are NO CARTS FOR CUSTOMER USE!!! That is just nutty to me. Come on! We need to have carts to lug our stuff to and from our units. I had to buy a hand truck from Home Depot for $80, and it is till less useful than a flatbed cart. But at least the employees are awesome. They make up for the negatives.

Rented my unit online for what I thought was a good rate only to discover that I had to pay for key and insurance on top of my rental. There was no option in this matter and it increased my monthly rate from $75.00 to almost $90/month. All of this information should have been provided up front to allow for informed decision making as by the time I should up to pay its too late to do anything else. Certainly had I known in advance, I would have felt better about my decision.

Friendly Staff, clean facilities

I needed to move my stuff into storage after some life events and I always knew that Public Storage was one of the best options out there. The staff at the Forest Park-Frontage Rd location were nice and helpful. The inside of the climate controlled building was clean, if not a little eerie (quiet and dark-energy saving lights, a good idea but a little scary walking into at first.). The only gripes I would have is the lack of carts after the office closes and the restrooms are locked, probably due to security reasons. I'd recommend it to anyone needing storage space.
